The Galician country house "San Andres" was built in the 18th century and was in remarkably good condition when it was bought a few years ago. The 200-year-old and approx. 70 cm thick granite stone walls are very well preserved, and the roof beams with thick chestnut wood beams could also be restored. The builder of the house chose the rock slab on a ridge with a wonderful view and yet sheltered. Hundreds of years ago "San Andres" was a station of the monks on the way to the source "Aguas Blancas" down in the valley. This place has retained its spiritual strength to this day. The house has been carefully restored with great attention to detail. We have made a point of maintaining the original style while creating an atmosphere of coziness and comfort.

In the main house there are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, each with its own toilet and bathroom, a modern Italian kitchen with a large dining table for up to 10 people, a large living room and a gallery. The whole house is very spacious.

When occupied by 5-8 people, the guest house can be used right next to the main house. There is another 1 double bed, a sofa bed for 2 people, bathroom with shower/toilet.

But the area around the house also offers a lot of space and variety. The terrace is very large and is our "dining room" in the warmer months, under the vine leaves you can enjoy meals or the evening with a wonderful view of the valley. In the garden you have a private pool (4x8 m, water depth up to 1.5 m) at your disposal. The water is cleaned by the electrolysis process. This environmentally friendly method uses slightly salty water, no toxic chlorine is added. The water is very pleasant for the skin and eyes and is also very suitable for small children. There is no smell of chlorine, but perfect hygiene is guaranteed. The garden with the pool can be closed by a door to protect children. In the courtyard there is a summer kitchen with 2 gas burners and a charcoal grill. The view of the mountains and the valley is fantastic. Parasol and 4 loungers are available. You will find plenty of rest and relaxation here!
